On friday we held some profesional boxing matches in our hotel convention center, some interresting fights going on. I get to meet Jorge Maromero Paz. that is one funny and cool dude. For those who don't know him he retired a couple years ago. What bothered me is that a lady sang first the Mexican anthem then the U.S. anthem. She sang great on both songs. But for the U.S. anthem why do Mexicans always start to talk loud and disrespect our anthem? to me it shows low class and this happens every time I am at a sporting event or with a group of friends. Even when the ring anouncer ask for ten seconds of silence for a boxer who died a few days ago in the ring, the same people insist on being loud and proud.when the croud told them to shut up they just continued anyways
I always hear viva mexico, but why not viven en Mexico. to me where is the honor and pride, looks like sell outs to me. Last how can one claim to be mexican if they where born in the U.S. That is known as a pocho to national born mexicans. They even talk down to these pochos. I Have lots of mexican and hispanic friends so don't get me wrong, I love and respect the cultures but I don't go to the bull fights in TJ then shout and bellow out USA or any other crap.

Ya...that sucks. I saw Camacho fight Roaches and the same crap.
Most of the Mexicans in the crowd tried to pick fights.
After we left the fight there was a big Mexican riot in the parking lot.
I found it entertaining to watch them beat up on each other. :D

watch the us play some mexican team a few weeks ago and same thing my buddies were so upset that Us won it ruined the havasu trip. No sportsmanship if they lose. Guy didn't even want to pay up on the bet. So I told him to find his own ride back to cali. makes them pay every time

I agree and I bet they don't sing our national anthem before a bull fight.

Oh I know Why they want to take back cali and texas right. I say good luck and go ahead and try.
In reality it is not all of them, but the ones that do it makes them look bad.

The USA - Mexico soccer rivalry has become very real and very serious...
A few years ago , my young daughter and I were in the mini-market across Katella from Disneyland. World Cup qualifiers were on, and the US had upset Mexico a few days earlier. 2-0 I think.
This guy walks in while I'm buying my beer, looks up at the match on TV in the store, and says, to no one in particular "USA - F#$% the United States".
I was about to congratulate him on his native country's fine play against the F%^&* USA days earlier, but the little amount of street smarts I posessed caused my to realize that the Blue, # 13, Rams jersey he was wearing might mean something other than he was a St. Louis, or Kurt Warner, fan.
So I kept my mouth shut, confident that karma would someday adjust his attitude...

My previos job was banquet manager @ carson hilton in which we hoste d major league soccar
Cool deal was kinda got into this soccor bit
any red blooded american does not pay much attention.
I had the police come and remove one of mexicos coaches because he kept entering the kitching and service areas, ask him nicely to not go in those areas but would not listen them kept talking in spanish to the chefs over my shoulder. Little did he know that this White American speaks his language.
Should have seen the look on his face while the police escorted him out andto his room per my request.
second problem my servers would show up late with a lame ass exscuse. and if they lost they would not show for some reason they became sick. Good thing about it was I got rid of all the problem employees real quick because of the these games.
Funny though we hosted the charger spring training and during the six weeks I was never late nor did I call in sick, but then again they did pretty well last year.

If people don't like it here, then they need to get the f out. I came to this country because I liked it the way it was, not to change it to what I had just left.
