Seems Aaron of Absolute Marine in Havasu was out ripping across the lake in a particular customers 30 Eliminator Daytona that has just been equipped with twin HO525 Raylar kits on its 496HO motors. According to Aaron the GPS was recording 103mph on a boat that topped at 85mph before the new kits!!
The 32P new props versus 28P were putting the boat on the rev limiter at 5150 rpm!! Needless to say the customer is about as excited as one could get when they join the Century Club in their boat. Raylar would like to thank the customer and Aaron of Absolute Speed & Marine for an incredible opportunity to show what just twin Raylar equipped 496's can do at 525HP!
Great Job Aaron and crew!

Congrats on the 103. A 30 Daytona with HO's should run better than 85. ;)

CONGRATS on breaking the century mark!!! but i was thinking the same thing. didn't eliminator claim that they could hit 105 with twin 496's in the 30 and 103 with the same motors in the 33???? trust me, i'm not baggin on the engine work or the boat AT ALL!!! both his new speed and initial speed are faster than mine. i'm just curious to know if eliminator is pulling a fast one and usuing "special" boats for these claims.

Just a question, which drive was on those motors, do you need to upgrade the drive when you add horsepower?? We have an HO with B1x, how much power can that drive take??

Great increase....but I guess Eliminator's claim of 100 with 496's in the 30' was a little off a couple years ago...
No wonder Foaata is selling....it must suck getting passed by Magic deckboats when you are running twins... :):)

The Eliminator that broke 100 with HO's had a kevlar lay up if I remember correctly.

Raylar is doing some spectacular things with the 496. These guys really know their stuff. I expect we'll be seeing even bigger normally asperated horsepower from these guys real soon.

Heard a lot of good stuff about the Raylar kits here but that just not seem possible with that small of a hp change.

On a "V" maybe not but on a nice Cat hull, seems attainable.. :coffeycup :D
