at 220mph it don't take much they can luanch all by them selves with sudden breeze. those dude got large.......guts.

Indeed it is real..It happened at the gold cup race in Detroit JW Myers was driving and caught a roller...he was unhurt...crew worked all night to fix the damage and he raced again the next day...
Its on pg 14 and 15 of the current Powerboat magazine.... :2purples:

When you look at the full size pic you can see the driver is still trying to save it :notam: the props still spinin :D

in the last pictures its still pretty well intact for how high he got. thats some major pucker factor right there.

With the color scheme and lighthouse in the background I thought it was a Coast Guard chopper. My poor brain couldn't figure out what it was seeing until I read the description in the thread. Wow!
