Sweet Caroline is back to winners circle! #50 Mark T and his 76 Lavey hit 76.003 mph average to crush the competition in the fast A heat with the Davis b boat in hot pursuit running second!
B heat saw the SS79 Barron Sprint almost matching Carolines speed at 75 mph to win the next bracket and trounce the Burfoot #831 Sanger and the SK680 Jones small block and the mis-handling #57 Aquacraft.
C heat: saw the Girl Cheryl win after her flip at Ione Wa just three weeks before and former Champ Ron a close second and possibly the new champ for 2005.
The unbeatable Nordling Lavey SS76 failed to qualify and suffered engine damage right before the finish line in its first heat on Saturday. This may have cost the new driver his first championship. A final points talley has not been completed at this posting.
16 Nostalgia boats were on hand for the final of the 2005!

I was told she could only muster 6500 rpm so they must have had the 22s still installed. Did he buy the 15s? It would seem all our boats have stepped up a notch to run those figures, even the vintage hydros were running 67... But it helps to have five pin big wide corners! Got any boats brewing?

I forgot to mention that our own flatrat had his first victory in the 880 Howard runner. Tim(animal)Rat from MOOONtanna won his first heat easily but had to leave early Sunday and missed that day but still got a trophy in his third race! Nice job Rat, you are a quick study and that boat is very pretty and fast! Steve and Sharon were there but their Hallet wasnt as its 396 had the hickups or a mild virus.... viva Mexico

Rick told me that Dad shipped out the gears. So I am assuming he bought them. Dad also had a heart attack afterwards, when he called Cali. and check on the price of a new set...
So it seems a very good deal was had.
Do I have any boats brewing??
Maybe

Thanks Jerry, once again its just not the same without you!
More pictures to come as soon as they send them. Great crash shots coming of the girl in blue getting congradulated by my wife (driver rep) for running so well right after her ordeal. Her repaired Sanger ran very hard at 66 mph average!
George Nordling can be seen going over his notes as the Flat Commissioner. We were all waiting patiently for our final heat and the wind to die down. It never did so we wrapped up our season of no rain outs and only one missed heat. No one complained, however since most had an early start on their long trips home.
#57 had plenty of power (and still rich) but we think the motor location was wrong and it never layed down under power, so I had to pedal it way more than my talent allows. Had a good race with the SK680 though and changed the lead more than 4 times in three laps!
Mark Harmon was the consumate gentleman tech inspector from Oregon and we oue him many thanks!
Congradulations to all the winners and for me, I'm just a happy :mix: loserjErK
PS the dog is our schnauser, 'Sampson' and he sings better than I!

I had another GREAT time hangin' with the flat-bottom boys and girl at Moses Lake. I still got the fever Jerk. Damn Flat Rat is a bad infuince on me, first Harley's now V-Drives. Ya gotta love it! I am also very proud of Flat Rat(my brother) on his first win at Moses Lake. It was also good to see Cheryl back on her horse too. :hammerhea :220v: :skull:

Good to hear that. Remember, my fast lavey craft is still forsale with or without engine and its faster than anyones! It would make a perfect candidate for the new E class small block flats. In their day nothing could catch a mouse motor Lavey! Right Jerry?
