Introduction and brief bio

[Mustang Shorty]

Since I have finally worked up the guts to start posting a little I guess I should tell a little about myself.
I am 50, single and have been involved in trucking since 88. Spent 7 years in managment and got fed up with the, deliver at all costs mentality. I got out when I was fired for not forcing my drivers to run illegal. I am now over the shop at a construction company that does sewer and utilities.
A long time ago I used to go to Apache lake in Arizona and met some people with a v-drive named Anticipation and have wanted one ever since.
I picked up an old one that I have been working on which brought me here.
I didn't even get into the sandbar until about a year ago, and I got caught up in it before I realized what was happening. I don't post much but enjoy reading after work. Tom B, JBB and Hooli are always good for a laugh.
Now I turn this thread over to the inevitable questions, insults, flames and whatever else might follow.

Thanks, I gave up destinations a while back, just enjoy the ride.
The name is two part. I'm 6' 8" hence the shorty since I was 21. I worked at the Mustang Ranch as bartender/security before the fed's closed it in 99. + Mustang Shorty

SWB, $100 wouldn't even buy my gas, plus I'm getting to old and beat up for that, 22 years on a hardtail panhead will do that to you.
Plus I am all about mellow anymore. I am pretty much a loner most of the time but love to get freinds together and BBQ.
I do have a bad habit of speaking my mind when I feel a need. Other than that loud bikes, big guns and fast boats.
