I have a F350 SD FORD with a Fabtech 3.5 leveling kit on it.I bought some 20s and am going to put some either 33 inch IROC Supper Swampers or if I go up to a 35 I think I can get something a littel less aggresive.
The question is will a 35 fit on it with out causing alot of problems.
I asked the fabtech guys if I could go up 2 more inches with the leveling kit and the answer was yes but it will be rough as hell.(with add a leafs FT and BK)Can I just put a 6 inch block(has a 4in factory) in the back and a 2 inch block in the front(has nothing factory) and keep the same ride as now.FABTECH (TECH) SAID I NEEDED TO BUY THE 6 OR 8 INCH KIT AND BE DONE WITH IT.
What have you guys done. And do you have pics?

Blocks in the front is a no no. Contact Donahoe Racing they sell a 2inch mini pack that will get you more lift iin the front and should not affect ride quality. I have a 3inch DR leveling kit with 315/70/17's and get a slight rub with the tires turned hitting a hard bump. My neighbor has your same truck and runs 315/75/16 BFg at's on stock wheels and his rubs at full lock. You can also contact Deaver springs. Good luck

Well here is what I have figured out.
1 new DR 6 inch kit 1750.00
2 Fabtech 5.5 kit 1114.00
3 use my 3.5 hanger kit and get leaf pack track bar relocator, stearing arm ect, block relocaters for bump stops,6 inch block for the back and U bolts. For 873.00 and this would come out to be a 5 inch lift. This stuff would come from SDHQ and they said it would ride the same as now.
Then I could run 35s no problem.

I would go with the DR kit. I have the 4.5 and love it. Don't believe what you hear, the truck will never ride like stock again. :boxed:

1st choice IMO DR kit. That being said if you have narrowed it to only these two Skyjacker and Pro Comp I would go Skyjacker.

I went for the Fabteck 6" lift and it rides a lot better than stock but i will be adding air shocks in the rear, i also went for 37" tires and they do not rub.

Well I ordered the 35 x 20 IROC Super Swampers and am gona throw them on and see how bad it rubs.Super lift also makes a 6 inch kit for 750 but has blocks for the back I guess they want you to stack a 2 or 4 inch block on your originalblocks, the back leafs are more.
I have seen a 350 with 35s but they were on the stock 16 inch rims and they rubbed on the leafs turned all the way.Like cc322 was talking about.

You are getting Super Swampers and are worried about the ride? Is there a tire out there that is any worse on the street. those are great tires offroad but they wear fast and you will have to balance them all the time IF you can get them balanced. yes they will rub the lugs are huge unless you get the right offset but then it will be tuff on the bearings, you should take a ride in a truck that has them on for about a 100 miles and then make up your mind. i had them once and never again.

I am not really woried about the ride. You had the IROC radials?I think when you put 20s with ATZs or that alike looks like a car tire.It is a 350 Super duty truck.Anything in this size with a 20 inch opening is gona wear or is twice as much.I thought about the Nitto mud grappler for about 130 more a tire but only get the same milage out of them.
Like I said I will probely get a 6 inch lift or add to what I have.

I would re think this set up. IMO the A/T's look great, but I would stay with a 17" or 18" wheel. I am just not into the whole 20" wheel look on a 4x4, but thats me. Go here for some good reading on tires http://www.ford-trucks.com/ good luck BTW I have alway been a BFG tire guy but pro coomp is making some pretty nice tires as well. Also you will rub like crazy with those tires.

cc322 Yea you are rite 35 too big for a 3 inch leveled truck(I did some checking with a tape).I am going to call monday early and have them change the order to 33s untill I lift it some more.
Every one likes diffrent things I would like a 12 inch lift on 40 inch tires with 22 inch wheels but not going to happen towing a trailer every day.
As far as not liking 20 with knoby tires the 80s are over and trends change I really do not like 16s with big side walls just not my thing. All though I think the 33s on these 20s will look kinda weird being it will only have 6 and a half inch side walls ,the bigger wheels look better on big lifts. But I got the 20s for 189.00 each and the 17s were 169.00 each.I grew up on bagged and body droped trucks so my thinking is more updated than pink pinstripes and 15 inch fat hammer wheels with 205, 60s tires..
Any of you guys have or know where I could find a pic of a 33x13.50R20 Irock Radial mounted on a 20 in rim?

OK I got them mounted and put on today.I had to trim the airdam a bit on the edges. The IROK Swampers ride pretty smooth but start howling at 40 and really get going at 60 up.I will take pics with and with out the Baja hooked up to marrow.I like them but they would look better as 35s.

I snaped a few and will try to get them up tomarrow. After driving on them for a day I can say the IROCs are a pretty smooth riding tire.My brother in law has some knock off Kellys with big tread and are 31s and they ride rougher.
