123,000 miles blew the trans on my ford f250 turbo diesel . The first one went at 55,000 . I had it rebuilt at ford. Is 70,000 miles all you get from a ford trans. What other options are there. Fords are good trucks but the trans are *ucked. Is there a good shop close to the san fernado valley

Try Delgado transmissions in hesperia area, he's a great transmission guy. Used to, maybe still does, work for LAPD and also has worked on a lot of other race team stuff

Next tranny you get, you should install the biggest tranny cooler available, and maybe even hook up an electric fan to it.

Do you service your trans at recommended intervals? I have several friends who tow 37 foot fifth-wheels, their grading equip, etc. and have well over 200k miles on their trannys with no problems.
