So I'm trying to contemplate on which route to take for the new boat. I am basically looking for a nice 30' cat that has lots of freeboard. The only ones that have tickled my fancy is the Magic 34' Scepter open bow which is beautiful, but pricy ($270k) or the HTM 30' open bow ($180k), both have their goods and bads, and of course HTM still carries weight on it's shoulders. But from reading through the posts here, either people hate them, or love them (HTM that is). Any other ideas of makers that I am missing that make nice tall 30' open bow cats?? Besides MTI, Nortech and Skater (Big bux)... also anyone out there that has or knows anyone that has a 30' HTM...
thx

Tom at Pro Marine in havasu has or had one. He had it for sale at the first of the year. It was also in Hot Boat Mag. (I've been told they have a mag) :D

I'd buy 3DOs boat. No open bow but a sweet boat. It's for sale in Cats & Tunnels.

DCB's are nice, but they are low profile, otherwise my choices would be unlimited. I like a boat that I can either stand or site while driving, but no feel like I'll fall out. The Eliminator Daytona 33 is nice, but just not too roomy. I've already worked out a killer deal with them, but just want to look further into the features that I really like. I'm going from a deep-v to a cat and like the stand up option. Has anyone riddin in the 30' HTM??

The Flyin Vees have a F29 up for sale right now with an open bow. Low hours and a great system.

We do have a DCB f 29 for sale right now and we even have a special cushion to sit on while you drive so you are higher. It has also won the stereo contest 2 yrs in a row. I can post a few pics if you like. oh and did I mention it is currently for sale at DCB if you want to see it in person.
it is a very nice boat. :D

If I remember right, ***boat had real nice things to say about the 30' HTM. I'm sure it is a great boat with tons of room and storage. If you want a family type cat, Skater, Spectre, MTI and such don't fit the bill. I've been in Magic34's boat, a 34 closed bow, and it is sick! SO much room with a shower and sh*ter to boot. :2purples: 95mph and a flat screen down below. :) Almost makes me want to trade in the Spectre.....almost. :)

Back on top. I'm mistaken. The Superboat is a 32. What type of boat are you lookin for.

Open bow... never mind. Not alot of bigger open bow cat out there this size. I think you have it covered already.
Force or Carrera will be the most reasonable.
