You'll have to excuse the "noob" question, but how does that bow eye device work? It is unlike the setup I am used to seeing on any trailers I have owned. Damn fine lookin' boat, too, BTW.

The trailer has no winch. It's designed to float the boat onto, then secure the arm to the boweye.
The vast majority of jetboat trailers are setup this way.
The downside is, if you take off too fast in the tow vehicle, the arms have been known to flip over backwards and can do some serious damage to your hull. I have a turnbuckle that attaches to the arm which limits it's upward/backward movement to prevent this.
Very common setup.
Damn fine looking boat tricky. Running some good numbers too. I'd be curious to hear some hp numbers from that 468 cu. in. too.

Now there is a boat to buy, if anyone is in the market, Id strongly consider one like this.
Pretty sure this is the guy LV jetboy raced one time, he said he was side by side with him, or may have even lost to him.

I remember that now. If that's the same guy, I think he lost. LV's running solidly in the 90s with all the gear he carries around.

It's never been on the dyno so we're really not sure. It's spinning an A/B Berkeley impeller about 6,200 rpm. I would think that should be in the neighborhood of 700 ponies  What da ya think?

Im not joking. My dad has a very nice Quicksilver GT-400 ultralight/experimental airplane that he is looking to sell to buy a jet boat or trade for a jet boat. Im gonna try to get a picture of his plane. Click here for the Quicksilver (http://www.quicksilveraircraft.com/gt400.htm) websight. His is like the one in the picture but its blue with red, yellow and orange trim. I'll try to get pictures.

My boat is a Rogers with just a hair over 750hp/714ft.lbs. (dyno'd) spinning an AT "A" imp. @ 6200 rpn running @ 94mph. the set up is real conservative and the boat running like a squirell in a nutsack (squirly!) im not looking for anymore out of this hull, but it is a fun boat, im sure like yours!
hope you get what you want for it, the boat is worth it! IMO the best v-bottom for your buck, well a Rogers anyway! lol!

It's hard for me to even list this boat for sale and it's not even mine! Mine is the Sleekcraft in my avatar. Steve has been struggling with letting this boat go for a while as you can see it is super nice! He's been stuffing the family in this river rocket for quite some time now and feels it's just time for a bigger boat. He's got his eye on the Placecraft 22' deckboat if anyone knows one for sale. Thanks

It speaks of numbers ....
and the numbers are SWEEEEET!!!!
687 HP to spin a berk AB at 6200.
Also a very nice boat, great looking. I LOVE that finish, just gorgeous. Too bad I haven't got coins that size. I'd hate to let it go if it was mine too.
