Hey, I'm thinking of doing some work on my cylinder heads, iron big oval BBC's, and looking to get a new cam. Any ideas on someone to do the machining for a GOOD PRICE in the So Cal area? I know DNE can probably do a good job, but he seems a little spendy. I'd like to port em and do the bowels, new springs and valves. I can assemble, I just want someone to do the hard part wink

I'd start with George @ Clay Smith (714) 523-0530.
As for the bowels...you might try a proctologist...

Not California but in Nevada...Engine Prototype Deleopement (EPD) Larry Olsen. The number as I remember is 775-246-5015. Quite possibly the best there is with cylinder heads. As far as cylinder head repairs, especially aluminum, I don't know if you can break a head he cannot fix. I think he has his own cylinder head also so he may have a website. He calls them an EB head.
