i dont know if it can be installed as i dont know anything about your boat but it will help u adjust the boat for sure......how high of a up angle do u have in it at full up? maybe u need a down wedge a little bit to make it stop porposing but still get some speed out of it.

That just might work. Wedges for Berks are cheap. Not sure what kind the jacuzzi takes, but I wouldn't think they'd be too expensive. It's worth a shot. I've done lots of experimenting with wedges and they can make a huge difference in the way your boat rides/handles.

What do you mean when you say, "When nozzled up"? Have you done something to change the stock thrust angle?

I'm assuming that he's got a diverter on the Jacuzzi?

Could also be a YJ with the adjustable trim screw.

OK, that's what I've got. How fast are you going? Mine will power out of it around 50. I also found that I have to get up to speed sometimes with it down and then slowly bring the nozzle up, too fast and it will make the boat jump just enough to start the porpoise.

thats what i think toddnjuzz lack of power to keep the nose up so need to lower the angle of the nozzle with some wedge

malcolm

My Taylor SS is the same way. If I am cruizing about 3800, I cannot carry more than a bit of tail. About 4,000 and I can rooster it about 4 or 5 feet up (about half), Anything below about 4,300 and I porpose at full roost. I am running a Berk "F" with original trim and "shortie " ride plate (cavitation plate), all externally orriginal.
