Go to Havasu this weekend, I hear they are having a Magic Regatta. And the next, and the next, and the next, etc. Hell, every weekend is a Magic Regatta. Must be doing something right. :D

Not fiesty, just jealous. I think Magic makes one of the nicest deck boats out there, when you take the whole lay out into consideration. Also, when you see how many there are out there, and how rarely you hear a complaint, customer satisfaction seems very high to me.

Good to have you back here :D As I said before the worst part of owning a Magic is the BUYING EXPERIENCE & DELIVERY, after that it's all down hill, love my boat :) NSF

i second what NSF said. once delivery is taken and all the bugs worked out, they are great boats. we have 130 trouble free hours on ours and love it. i will say nothing of the buying experience but Clu has made our ownership/service experience worth it.

im happy with it,the 496HO has had more troubles than i wish,thats not magics fault.Pm me if you need more info,be boring for everyone else to read.By the way,finally had a chance to see how fast it would go,no kids,no wish,low on gas,72mph at 51http://www2.***boat.com/image_center/data/500/2371DSC00391.JPG 00rpm,,im happy with that :D

I am, assuming the you don't have a GPS speedo, that number seems way off. Mine had the 460HO and then I did some engine work and got a GPS Speedo... wish I didn't get the speedo... now the boat is slower!
I think magic is a great boat, I have had osme issue with the boat that they took care of promtly.

no gps,,,,just speedo,jbnsocal has the same boat,same motor,same prop,im always 500 to 700 rpm higher than him,he tops at about 65,so i do think my speedo is real close...but who knows

Those are great numbers if accurate. I was just shocked about the speed when I installed the GPS.
We love our Magic deckboat and so do our friends. The only con is the bimini top and the aqua step (made cheap) for the money spent on the boat. Everything else is top notch.

Is the materail streaching on the bimini? I was told if you go faster than 45 -50 it will streach the bimini top.

to the boat itself,mines also starting to get lose,its kinda cheap,flexes more than I like.They dont have cross bracing,its easy to add,Im doing it next summer

My Lavey has that.I left it off one time to see what it does and it really made a differance.My bimini is really tight its very hard to attach the poles, it takes two people,one to pull pole and one to put pins in.Kinda of a pain in the ass but you can bounce a quarter off of it.

I've had mine for 2 seasons. We are in Havsua every other weekend so we get alot of use of our boat. We LOVE the boat, built very well, no problems with it. Glad we got the 525.
I would only sell it for a 30 foot deck boat.
Magic of course.

Just finished 2 days at Havasu and 6 at Parker. Ran like a top; had 11 people in it on Friday :cool: The Bimini was up most of the time. Love mine!
Now I gotta go back to work :mad:
