Lots of skis on the boats. You know how it works, everywhere you go in one somebody wants to ski...
We didn't stay too long. We got up early in Parker and hit the ramp above the dam with three boats and then ran up from there. We were back down on the strip by noon...

Beautiful Boat.
That boat was sick. It is capped and just looks like a very clean boat.
Everytime I went past it, I found myself looking at it for a few minutes.
Nice boat.

I see alot of regattas every summer and all of them have their fair share of
killer boats. But nothing really compares the past 2 years to the Schiada
regqatta As I'm standing on the beach admiring someones boat, another one
idles by and it's almost in reverance that the other people on the beach
admire the boats as they go by. Alot of folks don't have a clue about them
but almost everyone loves to stare at them!

It was featured in Hot Boat (yes, they have a magazine). If I recall it had twin blown small blocks, capped hull/deck etc. Very nice boat. Can't remember the performance numbers on it, but they were impressive.

My Dad & I went 1/2's on it..... We live in Huntington Beach and it drives us crazy not have something to run in the ocean as well as the lake. We have been checking out the 32s...... But was fortunate enough to tie up near the 27 at the group picture. Found out it was for sale........ and as they say, the rest is history. Know anyone looking for a 22' Daycruiser???

The boat is a 1986. The motor is a 468 with a 6:71. Lee says its possibly a Teague as most of their custom engines at that time were from them. It so far forward because it has a 2 speed powerglide turning a Speedmaster #4. I just had the blower rebuilt, added lightning headers and Rex mufflers. The carpet is out of it as I was planning on having the interior redone over the winter. Now it may make more sense to sell it as is and let someone else choose the interior.

:D Congrats to you and your Dad, is he going to sell his 21 RT ? You guys have a real piece of Schiada History, would be interesting to find out just how many were built, I recall seeing one or two advertized on the east coast when I used to view O.S.O's website.
Congrats :D
Scott.
My Dad asked me to put his boat up for sale here. (http://www2.***boat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94463&highlight=schiada)
Lee said there were three 27 footers made - two in the late '80s and this one. We're both really excited to own (and run!!!) this boat.

I should be picking up the 27 any day and I'll definately take more pics. I believe the mold for the 27 was actually a shortened 31' mold that is no longer around..... but rumor has it that there may be something between a 24' & 32' in the works... Have you tried to email Lee at Schiada SCHIADA788@aol.com about a 21RC? He is definately the man to ask.

Yah a 27 sounds nice but $$$.
I am just looking for a 21RC IO..i would love a Vdrive but i already have a B1/imco drive unit and a 496ci motor. Just looking for something fun for my house in big river that i can take up to havi and not get killed in. plus 5 people max in the boat is a nice change of pace.
thanks again and definately post pics when you get them.
