Merc Extended Warranty?

My one year warranty is about up and was wondering if its a good idea to get the extended warranty - this happens to be on the 6.2 MX.
Any feedback???? :confused:

I didn't buy it for my 496Mag. I figured if something major was gonna go wrong, it would do it before the year was up.

I have not ever bought the extended plan. Just try to weigh out the balance, some things to consider... You deductable (if applicable), the amount of your cash flow you have to have it fixed or do it yourself, and the upfront cost of the plan. I do not even know how much they charge to extend it so none of this may even be a factor???
that 6.2 ran great for me in my previous boat. I can not recall how many hours it had (estimating about 150? in 2 years).
