Do you have any more info... what year is it? Is it standard bore? Is it a 4 bolt? Is there something wrong with it(water in the oil)? Can you post the block and head casting numbers?

sorry about delay in posting reply. this is a standard old 73 chevy 3/4 ton pick up engine. has absolutely no marine hardware on it. it is currently installed in early willys wagon and can be heard before purchasing. does not appear to be built up in any fashion. hope this clears up some confusion.

If I were you I would take your motor to Westech and tell them that this motor "should" make 1500hp. Give them the money, and I bet you will get a dyno sheet that you can show to any potential buyers (that is, if they are in the jet forum). lol

block casting number is 3999289. do not have head casting numbers. stamp code on front of block is TRB

unknown on both accounts. engine currently is installed in early willys wagon. do not know the original mileage on it.
