Agreed. Did you hear Biffle sniffle? Wanted to get those 5 points for leading, but as Kenseth said, if he gives up the lead to give you 5, and he loses the cup by 4, well.
It's a long shot, but I'd like to see either Mark or Rusty win the cup. Mark, becuz he's not won one yet, and Rusty, well, just because.

I sure hope Mark Martin gets the cup, since it is his last year to do it.. He definitlely is my sentimental favorite. :2purples:

He's not going to retire this year. Expect to see him driving the #6 for one more year.

Well, if Robbie could QUALIFY to get IN the race, then...well, he'd have that chance. THAT would give everyone something to talk about on Monday morning...You could sell more tickets to the fight in the infield afterwards, too!
At least his aim with the car is better than his aim with a helmet.

Great job by Mark Martin and his team. Roush Racing rocks...
Too bad he was involved in that Talladega melee.
He would have had a really good chance at the cup...
But it's not over yet, who knows.

I thought this was Mark Martins last full season racing for the cup, I know he is going to do select events next year. I will look into this further.

Creator I took this off of Mark Martins web site under Bio.
Martin, a true legend within the sport, announced in October that 2005 would be his last year racing for the Nextel Cup. Although the veteran driver has no plans to retire from racing, he will give up racing a full-time Nextel Cup schedule after this season. However, Martin has no plans to go quietly and he and his Viagra Racing team are clearly considered one of the favorites to win the championship in 2005.
Martin has pinned the season his “Salute To You” Tour. In an effort to thank all of those that he feels are responsible for the opportunity that he has been afforded, Martin vows that the “Salute” will be a special year for all involved and that his team will fight harder than ever to finish in the front of the pack.
