I have been there 3 times for work. The only thing really there to do is shop and check out the red light district. Remember Singapore is classified as a "fine" city where you get fined for everything. There is no porn there, no chewing of gum and numersous other odd laws.

If you love food, go to the area call "car park" at night. All taxi drivers there will know what it means. It is parking lot turned into food stands. Also take the cable car tour, great view.

Also, know that this is one safe country. The only problem you will have is being harassed by the transvestites on Orchard Road.

The only other thing to remember on buying electronics is most of it is wired for 220.

You got to try the Hooters in Singapore. I couldn't believe they had one, but it is really nice and the hooter girls are'nt to bad either. They have a river walk similar to the one in San Antoino as well. That is were most of the entertainment is . It is a big flight attendent party town. :rollside:

I went there when was trying to get my body ready for American food again after being over there for a month. The ladies were definitely good looking although some really lacked in the "hooter" department.
