anyone have a 225efi merc? cause mine seems really bad on fuel, wondering what would be normal?

What kind of hull is it??? I get great mileage in my Allison. Sometimes 5 mpg.

I got a 225 merc on a 21ft liberator, and my gas milage is great.
I can go from havasu channel to havasu springs and back on 1/2 tank of gas.

ok so whats that about 20miles to springs? haven't been to lake in years. if go on ski run 3 guys two turns each i'd say i use about 6 gal,heavy sanger barefoot boat normal? old warrior w/150xr4 would have been half that

By myself with a full tank i hit 83mph gps with a 25 pitch 4 blade prop at 6800 rpm's
It is the only prop i have :cry:

Let me mention i cruse at 50 to 60 mph, a little over half throttle, and every once awhile full throttle for a couple minutes.
Im sure if i stay off the gas, my gas milage would go up alot.

I bump the limiter at 3000ft. altitude.
