I've got a few knicks, scratches and small gouges in the gel. Most were there when I got the boat and a few have been added since. Because some are older there may be wax and who knows what in them. I'm assuming all that crud will need to be cleaned out....with?
As far as the materials go, is the stuff they sell at Tap Plastics adequate? I'm guessing all told, the amount of gel I'll need to mix up is maybe 2 ounces.
I figure I'll try a couple of repairs to the bottom first to make sure my color matching eye is working.
