Maybe Kalifornia doesn't observe Columbus Day. Something about it being insulting or offensive to Native Americans.
Funny though. My wife is Indian and works in the local Indian Health Service Hospital. THEY all got the day off, and I haven't heard anyone bitch about being offended.
Oh. Chris Columbus was definitely a Democrat. Think about it.
He left not knowing where he was going.
He came back not knowing where he 'd been.
And he did it all with someone else's money.

I believe that Wednesday (12th) is the actual Columbus Day. It is usually observed the 2nd Monday of the month.

LOL. He didn't go on a cruise. Money didn't do him alot of good. Besides getting him all the goods he needed to possibly sail off to his death. Which he manage to dodge.
He's lucky he didn't fall off the end off the earth. He had alot of guts. :D

Nope, I'm a "bad guy"
I'm against prop. 75 for very specific reasons for my job. I'm all about small business guys getting breaks to work in this state Mr. Stirred, but this prop. does nothing to better your businesss and is an attempt to take away my (public workers) voice at the state level in regards to issues that affect my job, and my rights while doing it.
I'm done discussing politics on a boat site from here out but had set the record straight on where I stand.
