the wife and i are taking our oldest daughter (16 in jan) to see Sugar Ray at stateline on saturday. seems she has a thing for mark mcgrath.. it will be her first ever concert. i wont be going to the concert.. i don't much care for the group but im sure i can find something in a Casino to do for a couple hours. :skull:

She'll never forget the surprise. My daughter still has a thing for Mark and she's 20 now. Fortunately when I took her to see Sugar Ray I was able to go back to VIP and we met the band! What a GREAT surprise for your daughter! :D :D :D

i wish i could get her backstage... i would even pay for it. :) as it is.. we got the best seats available.. im sure she will have a blast. i have never been the the star of the desert arena but i hear there are no bad seats?? :D

i wasn't planning on telling her till we were on our way.. but the wife couldn't hold it in.. and spilled the beans. our daughter cleaned all the dishes... made sure the house was all picked up and got the 3 other kids to bed.. and i didn't even have to ask her... imagine that. :D :D

Very cool that should be something she'll always remember.
I used to work with Marks mom for a while two years back. He would always come in and take his mom out to lunch and stuff. Talked to him a few times, he seemed like a cool guy.
