I was thinking about going to CANYON LAKE but i've never been there so that's out.

Personally, I don't like Canyon. The road up there is like it was made in the 20's - all the twists and turns. Then when you get there, your in a canyon most of the time. Once I get all the bugs worked out, and I trust the new engine, I am going to start going to Rosevelt (sp). I hear it is huge.

Yes Roosevelt is huge and with that come some huge waves and wakes sometimes. It is still a nice place. But as I've said before Apache is boaters heaven, except for getting there :frown:

Launch at one of 2 ramps then park in the parking lot. Then we cruise around for a few. After burning some fuel then we hit partybeach in the very back. Its not the biggest lake so the cruise to the beach isnt far. Its about 5-15 minutes depending on your cruising speed;) Then you have a no wake zone cruise for about 10 minutes and its party time;)

Jim, bring her out and run with us;) The LE is cool about the noise at saguaro. They dont bother people too much. Plus we are regulars so they know who we are. Did I mention that I am running DRY headers :D :D

It's at the machine shop now. they are trueing up all 4 points of the manifold. Should have it back today and on by tomorrow.
I just don't know where Mike wants to go. Saguaro or Canyon.
Also I need to get a vest for the little one. Who has 2T size toddler vests?

Supposed to get the new motor back from Wilkies today. It's about time. I swung by and saw your kachina Michael. Looks damn good. If I can get that motor dropped in this Saturday, I'll be there. Nothing ever goes that smooth though. Can't wait to see the Challenger fly again!

Looks like I am not going to make it, but with good reason. My wife didn't want me going out without her, so she went into labor last night about 6pm and had our daughter Erin at 1:47am today. You guys have fun, and I will catch up with you next time.

Well how'd it go? I stayed home and painted :mad: Had to make a trip to Safford on Saturday and got back late and the weather looked like it might get windy :chi: so we stayed home.
