I have a vdrive with a 401 buick nailhead in it.It has a mild cam, bored 40 over, and basically stock other wise.I took the stock manifold off and the edelbrock 750. I put on an offy manifold and twin edelbrock 600.Any suggestions on setting up these carbs, seem to run alittle rich on idle.

Howard69,you're a man I admire http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif I've always been a Buick fan and wanted an old flattie with Buford power! I have a 2 Stage 1 GS's and really love the torque! As for the 401, are you a member of the GS Club of America? They have a lot of good tech stuff, even for the nailheads!

Oh well! Yeah those turbo 6's surprised a few folks. Man, I went to the GS Nationals years back and there were so many of those things sounding bone stock yet ripping off 11 second 1/4 mile passes time after time. While I love the rumble of the 455, it was tough not to take the little bent 6 seriously http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif If I ever quit dumping money into the boat I'll get one of the damn GS's back on the street.
