I know the boat. He is from Nor- Cal. He pulls catalina with it. It was painted earlier this year. That thing has some serious hardware in it.

I enjoy knowing that if I were to sell my entire rig, I wouldn't get enough money to buy a used trailer that size.

Dang. Wow I do love the honesty in here. The name on the side "WAS" the owners idea and there mind could not be changed. On this being to busy as some of you stated " YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING!!!!". At least the paint job flows in one direction and for the most part it does accent the lenght of the boat unlike most of the stuff out there that cuts the boat in half. Now this was one of the cleaner layouts that the owner wanted ( no backwards flames, leopard print, tribal BS, checkers, or water splash's, you know, the follow the leader style paint job  ). But everyone is entitled to there own opinion that's what makes the world go round.

There's got to be some colors that were not used on this boat- but I can't think of any right now.Let's see....Blue, purple, magenta, silver, black, teal, brown, just to name a few. This boat has only 5 colors on it, just looks like more then that. I usually don't defend myself when it comes to my paint jobs but in this case I will. You may not like the layout or the colors that the owner wanted but I will tell you that the final over all product is just as nice as if I were doing a small boat. That means long hours of colorsanding, reclearing, and colorsanding and rubbing the entire boat out. The fades are smooth, not looking like they were done out a spray can, and the shadowing of certain colors so they look like there laying on top of other colors are tastefully done, again not looking like they were done out a spray can like so many other big boat paint jobs. Like I said it may not be your cup of tea, but at least the workmanship was done with pride.

Fountains aren't my favorite boat out there and I've gotta say this one is beautiful. The paint, and amount of work behind it, is amazing. No need to defend yourself here Mr. B. Very nice work. ;)

I actually dont care for the colors but i do like the paint job in a whole, and actually really dig on how the front of the boat starts out small graphics and as they go back they "envelope" (i know you dig on my choice of words there PAL!) the cap and hull making it look like it is swallowing up the azz end!
Ive been waiting and wondering when this was gonna surface (pic)
B, you have once again outdone yourself!...HOW CAN I BE DOWN??? LOL

I'm cool with all of the Fountain. The Hav'n Fun name, not so much. HOWEVER, I think I need to paint my Bahner like the Sea Do boat! Nothing like cruising down river in a blown boat that barely does 60 with an advertisement that I'm no stranger to the weiner!

I'm sure the quality is as good as it gets. I don't think it matters if
it is 18' or 50' most paint schemes on boats either look good on the trailer
or in the water. It is very difficult to have it both ways. I have done
very intricate paint jobs that look great on the trailer, and everyone can
appreciate the effort that went into them, however when on the race
course they wash out and I'm not real happy with them. On other
occasions I have done rather simple paint schemes that look boring on
the trailer, and photograph just bitchen in the water.
Not sure this is the best photograph to critique a very difficult paint job.
I'll bet it looks a whole lot different in person and in the water.

Wasn't the name the same??? I could have sworn they named that boat Hav'n Fun? Must have gotten two big 42's with 6 drives confused...

At least they won't have to cut the beak off anymore to race it in the Catalina. I'd hate to see anyone cut into that beautiful paint job. I wonder if it raced yesterday in San Francisco's ski race?

Riverkid

I hear that! I remember watching Ferguson "unbolt" his one year... All 42' fountain "beaks" had to be in the race director's room the night before the race...
It will be interesting to see how many OuterLimits boats show up next year...
At least the Prime Marine boys will be carrying the Fountain banner up near the front. Especially if Davis is pulling Todd Haig. ;)
