Those boats with a stock 455 olds were recorded to run right off the trailer in the high 90's. Then 1 year later the business was sold & the new owners got a wild hair up their ass to lighten the boat & take the "CHUTE" pad out of the bottom... As the man stated it was a disaster! :( Since then there have been only a handfull of successful "CHUTE" bottom boats! Read this in Hot boat jet section years ago... :D
