Again the joke is on you fellas... :notam: Kona had a 1 yr production on a "CHUTE" bottom hull that was way ahead of its time! Those boats with a stock 455 olds were recorded to run right off the trailer in the high 90's. Then 1 year later the business was sold & the new owners got a wild hair up their ass to lighten the boat & take the "CHUTE" pad out of the bottom... As the man stated it was a disaster! :( Since then there have been only a handfull of successful "CHUTE" bottom boats! Read this in Hot boat jet section years ago... :D

I wonder who appraised this thing? I need him to take a look at mine and see what I can get for mine. I especially like the white block. I know an idiot that did that once. Turns out that oil leaks out is black.

Hey Guys,
Would Like To Get Some Opinions From Good Jet Boaters That Can Help Me Out.
I Just Bought A 73 Apollo, I Grew Up With My Dad Having Jet Boats And Miss All The Fun That We Used To Have So I Bought This Boat To Start The Fun Again!!
Can You Tell Me What To Expect? It Has A Jacuzzi Jw? Pump And I Hope To Strip Boat This Winter And Restore
Any Help With Pictures Of Nice Boats Like It Or Places To View Some Boats For Inspiration Would Be Apprciated.
My Father Had An Old Checkmate Then A Sidewinger Then A Southwind With Ls6 From A 70 Chevelle That Was Totaled In 75.
Thanks

there is always someone faster. i chose to be the someone slower to make all you guys feel better. so when you pass me you can look at the 5 chicks in the boat.

I never knew that throwing a fresh coat of krylon on the outside counted as a "new jet".
