Texas Raceway Pro Mod Race

Just got back from Kennedale. Absolutely the best Pro Mod race I've ever seen. They had a 8 car blown field and a 8 car nitrous field, plus all the cars that didn't qualify ran a Texas vs. the world shootout. The bump for the blown field was 4.04 and 4.2 something for the NOS cars. One guy ran 5 passes from 3.94 to 3.97 then lost in the finals after tossing the blower belt. My buddy, Thomas Myers, ran a,career best, 4.21, and another guy we know ran his career best 4.04. Not sure, but I believe there was around 40 Pro Mods there. Then about midnight, AMS invited everyone into their hospitality tent for a late night BBQ supper. All that and ran into a bunch of old drag racing buddies from OK. Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the pro mods. They are pretty extreme.
