Hey, who has awesome boat graphics ideas?
I have a white 26' cat with some "dated" graphics that I want to have changed.
First, can you tell me the best way to remove the old stickers?
Second, do you have any pics saved from some of your favorite boats, or do you have some pics of your boat you'd like to show off?
If so, post links here or email me the pic at kevin@netprofithosting.com
I am partial to checkered flags... but I'm not sure how to have it done creatively.
My boat is very clean, but b/c of the older graphics, it looks used. I want a fresh look to make it look new again.
Please post ideas or pics of boats - it will help me a ton!
Here's a pic of my boat now: http://netprofitservices.com/firehawk/image3.htm

Best luck I have removing graphics is with a heat gun (hairdryer will work). Heat graphics, take a flat razor scraper, lift the edge of the decal and gently pull away from the boat. If the boat is original gelcoat, you can clean the glue off with acetone. That will be $100, bud.
ratso out

Where do I get a diagram of the boat at?
I have no such piece. Pics of my boat are at http://www.netprofithosting.com/firehawk and firehawk has their main site at http://www.firehawk.com

For some reason I cannot open those pages. The boat manufacture should be able to give you a diagram.

THOSE SHOULD WORK! WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING TO DO PAINT OR VINYL. WHAT TYPE OF DESIGN?

I am planning to use vinyl.
I LOVE checkers!... I'm a sucker for them every time, especially when they curve around like a flag.
My boat's interior is purple and yellow. Other great colors would be black of course, and maybe silver... or other colors too.
I like the paint and graphic jobs that look good from 10 or 15 feet.. not the super wild ones that you have to stand right next to to even see what it is.
Here's a link to a "dream" paint job.
I know you can't do this with vinyl..but this is what I love: http://profilecustom.com/28cat_c.htm http://profilecustom.com/28cat_a.htm
Here's my favorite paint job: http://www.araiamericas.com/product/rx/rx_large/rx_repharada_01.html
Obviously I can't use these colors and the Japanese flag wouldn't fit here... but doesn't it look great!
Thanks so much!

BEST WAY TO REMOVE GRAPHICS... an eraser wheel that attaches to a special air tool. For more information, go to www.wurthusa.com (http://www.wurthusa.com)
