...but I thought of you when I saw this set-up...probably because of those BIG PURPLE injectors on your boat. :D
Seller says it's small block shit, but then categorizes under "8 Litre." Looks pretty cool:

Small block Chevy and 8 litre....WTF? Since he referenced Sprint cars I would expect they are indeed SBC.
After staring at them for a while, and trying to figure out where I had seen them before, I realized they are also kind of reminiscent of the Gurney-Eagle/Weslake small block Ford heads. Like this one:

I'm even thinking there were some Mopar small blocks heads designed similarly, but I could well be imagining that. (age related memory blur:) )

These are Aussie made cylinder heads and are used by a few of the v-drive racers there. They are used on smallblock race engines (which can now be built to big cubes) in boats, sprintcars and dragsters.
The quickest 6 litre circuit boat in Aussie down the kilo is sponsored by and named "Duggan Balancing" and I believe are the same company who developed these heads, cause he has got them on his boat and had run them on a drag car previously. I'll try and stick up a pic of the boat for you to see.
Failed on that image upload thing, sorry for the angry smilie, he was spose to be down here

Go to www.nzpba.com and take a look in the photo gallery and then the general gallery as there is a cupla pics of the Duggan Balancing boat with its twin turbo Duggan Chev engine that he runs in the Aussie B.A.D (Blown Alcohol Displacement) circuit racing class.
Whilst in the gallery take a look at the Manawatu Gold Cup and see what happened to me while driving an F1 tunnel boat this season.
Get me back in a v-drive, those tunnel boats play rough.
