Any dealership but the Harley dealership,
Honestly I thought they had a cap on the price and the price was the price...
Just beware, that the fat boy can get tiring on long rides...

This will be mainly for commuting to and from work. 40 miles round trip. Both my cousins have them and I liked the ride. Figured I would go the harley route for later resale value.

Well the first thing I noticed is the local dealer puts all there crap on it and jack the price 2-4k. Personally I think its all ugly. With it being that would I have to order one so they couldn't do it?

I would buy used, there is a lot of nice bikes out there with very low miles for great prices. Also look on ebay, I'm not kidding.

Just tell them to take the crap off or they can get you one rather quickly.
i would not buy used, most people think these things are worth more than they paid for them, plus, its a harley,You do not know what has happened to this bike, Spend the extra 1k or even save the extra 1K from used and get a warranty....

You will save a lot more than 1K, I have a 2004 with over 30,000.00 in it and I could maybe get 17,00.00 18,000.00 on a good day . Most guys that buy a new HD are well off and have the money to get them serviced regularly. When I say used I mean something with 5000 to 7000 miles or under. Just saying it never hurts to look. And if you got cash you can get a killer deal.

You are one of the few people that have a level head, Most people think because they put 30K into, Well hell its now worth 30K, but Ill let it go for 27K...
Most people buying harley's today, dont have a clue how to ride.....

Should only have to pay list price, prep and T&L. If dealer has in stock you can save a little $200-$500.
Here are a few guys to call;
Spider-Orange County HD
Ron-Westminster HD
Thor-Harley Davidson of San Diego
I have this 2005 Springer Classic for sale if interested.
