Another shot from Vandenberg tomarrow but its going to be at 11:04 in the AM. Don't know what kind of view that will give us. The last one at 7:24 in the evening was spectacular. Also, the weather man says we should be clear. Hope it works out...

That last one was amazing. I saw it driving home and it lit up the night like a slow motion shooting star. The trail was high enough to catch the sunlight but from where we were at it was already dark. Amazing colors. Almost eerie in a UFO kinda way.

I'm sure you will be able to see it from LA. The Titan IV is the largest unmanned space booster used by the Air Force. The vehicle is designed to carry payloads equivalent to the size and weight of those carried on the space shuttle.

It went up today, Wednesday, right on time. My kids live in North Vandenberg Villiage and not only did they see it, but it really rattled their house. Way too many clouds for us, we missed the whole thing...
