I'm in Mohave Valley down at the Needles bridge.
I use AT&T (now Cingular) and have signal up and down the river as well Laughlin -2- Needles on Hwy 95. Also have it from Barstow -2- Needles. On the river I have signal from Laughlin -2- deep into the Topock Gorge.
Did I mention I have stock in AT&T, just kidding.
I don't know if the (818) area code has anything to do with the good signal.
Hope it helps :D

You can Demo one of our phones for a few days if you want to. We just added new towers in Fort Mohave. We have lots of large accounts out there using Nextel.
You can call us toll free at 800-491-7121
Ask for John or Christa

No service works where you are now. You have to go to the front of the restaurant (but you probably figured that out already). Sometimes if you walk around the parking lot and cross your eyes, braid your hair, put your finger in your . . . ear and the wind blows right, you might get a signal. As long as the wind doesn't change :notam:

Cell service sux here in Bullhead tons of dropped calls, but the land lines aren't much better.
