Over on just jets They were saying the supplier said a couple months in the drum. Plastic is more porous. I would ask a fuel dist to find out for sure. after a month it goes in the golf cart if my drum is opened.

I think the big trick is keeping oxygen away from it. I think have heard about guys using Nitrogen to displace the air in open drums. It would make sense to check with a distributor, or even do a searh online.
