??????????'s about Arkansas boating laws.

I'm looking at some property in Arkansas. When I checked the boating regs they said that you had to have 50,000.00 in liability insurance to register your boat. Is this the case? My only insurance on blown, over the transom exhaust, high horsepower flatbottoms, has been space. What about the noise laws? Thanks.

This may help a little....called my dealer and got somewhat unclear info...
He said that the Corp of Engineers sets the regs and that if it is over 50HP then there is some requirement but was unsure of exactly what...
We boat at Greers Ferry Lake and have never had a problem being hassled about noise. Where are you looking in ARK?
