If you had a choice of what you would want in a 40+ ft PokerRun V-Hull boat , what would want in it ?????
I'm thinking : 1. Four Air/hyd seats w/harness
2. No cabin
3. unbreakable drives
4. naturally asperated single carb motors
5. Insurable
6. meet new noise laws
7. Canopy system
8. able to run 110 + all day long
9.bullit proof motors
10. center console
11. Run rough water any where any time
12. Afordable ( Under $ 300,000.00 )
13. ?
14. ? etc
These are the type of things I want ??? Any other IDEAS ?????

every once and a while you see old race boats for sale minus the rigging, you might look that direction to get under the cost you posted

Still have it and it will be for sale, soon as Washed Ashore doe's his thing to it.I hate selling something unless it looks just like a new boat. It will be down Jeffs shop soon.
I here there may be boats avaiable soon that have all the things I want and way less than a Fountain PokerRun 42. Will post when I know more.

Well you are right there! I have been in the recliner most of the weekend do to a miner elective procedure that I had done on friday to ensure that I do not have to go and buy a bigger vehicle.

#4 & #8 don't go together unless your talking Rolls Royce Merlins and those aren't naturally asperated either so never mind.
A 40+ V hull is going to motor through drives at 100+ unless you run Arnesons, #6's or Konrads.
Go nuy a 35b Fountain w/ 575's and enjoy. That'll run 110! If you want a rough water boat go look at some older non steps. They'll take some real power to run 100+ though.

When I was at Havasu Oct 14-15 I heard that there had been testing by ***boat the weekend before and that the Fountain 42 PokerRun Edition ran 103 mph with SC600's and that it weighed in at 9200 lbs. It ran that, they said with four people and 1/2 fuel.,SO !! I was thinking that I could build a couple of 572 (800 hp ) motors and run faster if I had a lighter boat !!! and YES I would use Arnesons and the Bam 1550 Dry Sump Trans.
Anyway that was my thinking !!!! Guess it would depend on the hull and the weight ??
