I recently updated my tired old tow truck, 1990 Chevy crew cab dually 454.
It got around 6 MPG towing to the lake, about 10 MPG in town.
Now I drive a 2005 Chevy crew cab 2500HD with the Duramax. I am glad to report getting about 18 MPG around town and 13 MPG towing. :)
I ran to Havasu this weekend without towing, 19.8 MPG.http://www2.***boat.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif
I kind of miss my old truck though,:( in the way you would miss an old alley cat.

It would probably do better if someone without lead in their foot was driving it! ;)
except they need to put on a bigger gas tank. I only have a 250 mile range. :hammer2: That sucks.
I don't want to even think what my tire budget is gonna be like........ holy shiat!!!!

My truck get the shittiest milage. It's an 03 with a 6" lift and 35's. Nothing else done to it. I think the alignment is all screwed up. Every time I take it in to get it aligned, they give me some f'd up story that I get sick of listening to , so I leave and continue with bad milage. I keep telling myself Im gonna get a new truck.
The 5 is great. I love that car. It's nice to get in that after driving the truck.
I forgot what the chopper feels like to ride. It's bumpy and seems to leave me stranded quite often. I could tell you what it's like to ride in the cab of a tow truck with the driver and his family from "insert favorite city here" to Simi if you'd like.

Do you really get 15 or does your display read 15
my Denali XL get's 15.4 average "and I do the math" but the display say the average that the vehicle average is 12.1.
I would say if your Escalade gets 15 to 18 I would call GM, most likely they will want to buy it back, because it's the only one in the world that gets that.
