Low priced Alpha replacements?

Yes, put one complete Alpha 1 (late) last year. It has 38 hrs. no problems. Installed one lower Alpha 1 (early) on an old 454- Alpha 1 (1.32) 19 months ago, no problems (hrs unknown). Seem to be worth the price and 'then some'. I hope they start doing Bravos, I could use a ton of them.

Haven't used 'em, but I definitely would if I needed to replace my outdrive. Why not? Good price and a warranty = win/win.
Are you gonna replace it yourself? The directions make it sound easy, but I always manage to F*** things up anyway! :p
