S hit yeah, I'd get out to the end and jump up/down and see if I could make it move. :p :p ...I'm curious of stuff like that. :D :D
Until I read glass floor I was wondering about the ladder looking shadow.
$25 bucks is steep but once in a lifetime would be worth feeling like one of the Eagles for just a moment.

I don't have a problem with the walkway, it's the $25 that I have an issue with.....as said above, that's about a $5 walk IMO.

Oh Hell No!!!!!!!!!!
That's in my back yard. Just north of Kingman. A few miles up river from Lake Mead.....Grand Canyon West.
1) It's a much better view from the river.
2)If the water ever comes back up it is free.
3)It is on the Hualapai indian reservation
3a)They are one of the poorest indian tribes in Arizona
3b)It is on a reservation and there are no inspections like we are subjected
to in the real world
3c)You are hanging over the Focking Grand Canyon :hammerhea

I'm with Ziggy...........I'd be jumping my near 300lbs up and down to see if it flexes or not and to hear my wife once again say "stop it". I always do it in elevators too when only family and friends are riding with me. But, I still won't bungie jump!

If it's built somewhere else on public land I'd say maybe (except $25 a pop is way too steep for that). But built there, I'd wonder about who designed, engineered, approved and inspected it. Nope!

The rendering makes me skeptical that this is a working design... based on common sense I do not see enough support or meat to sustain that kind of live load on that length cantilever under the engineering conditions given.....Live Loads(people) are highly over engineered standards and true cantilevers are wicked tough to attain high capacity ratings... I would guess the floor of that walk would be need to be more like a steel truss 10'+ tall and the ballast value on the end of it to be HUGE!
I would do it, but not if it looked like that, and I agree $25 seems a little rich I'd pay $5-$15

No, I don't think it would be worth it....
Especially when you can get a tour of more for about the same price

LAFD

For twenty five bucks, I'll just get a couple freinds to split the rental of a cessna and fly it for an hour or so, but I think that's an awesome business Idea. I wonder if the feds and preservationists probably wouldn't have let them cut into the canyon walls like that except it's on a reservation, so not much they could do. I'm sure people will pay it just because they are on vacation and have extra cash and the kids are begging them and it's unique. But I think they would make more money at $5 or$10 a head. And sure, I'd do it. What the hell, you only die once, at least it would be an interesting story at the funeral.
