So I'm moving to Vegas and yesterday while I'm driving back to CA from dropping off a load of stuff, I stop in Yermo for gas and...
This is the dog I found at the Gas station in Yermo yesterday on my way home from Vegas. After 15-20 minutes of walking around with her trying to find an owner with no luck, I talked to the station owner. He told me she had been left there some time ago and has been giving her a little food every day but not really caring for her. I decided after seeing her almost get hit 4 times and nearly wondering onto the freeway that I had to do something. SO I brought her home.
She is Very cute, gets along great with our dogs, is really sweet, and a little timid. She seems to be house broken and maybe 10 months to a year old. She is a total lover. From what I can tell she is a chocolate lab and maybe pit-bull mix. She has the same exact markings as Tara (my 14 year old), who is also a pit-bull lab mix and about the same size only Tara is much fatter. I would guess she is about 35-40 lbs at the most. She really is a good dog! We have not decided what to do with her just yet. We already have 4 dogs so adding another may not be a good idea. I think we will hang on to her for a few days and maybe try to find her a good home. The little woman wants to keep her but being in the middle of a move it really isn't the best time to be adding to the family. Just not sure what to do. Hmmm.
If we decide to give her away would anyone here be interested? We have a no kill shelter out here where I rescued my Rotty/lab mix. I also rescued my pit/lab mix from another shelter in San Diego so I'm a big fan of the shelters. However, I just hate to take a dog there if I can find her a home on my own. Anyways, if anyone is interested let me know.

Like I said we're not sure what we are going to do with her but I did want to see if there was anyone out there looking for a dog like this.
