Somebody's been hitting the pipe. That's Ghetto. I was hoping that no aluminum boats would show up on ebay and become comedy threads over here. Love the steering wheel, some assembly required on the motor, and a triple axle trailer under a 20' boat. There are some good parts there if somebody wants to get into aluminum. Gonna need alot of welding on the dash to get all those stupid holes out of there-Aluminum Squirt

He's also stretching it with "racing" jet boat. Its race ready except for the following:
-no roll cage
-no seat belts
-Swim step?
-With that motor you would have to run A class, he'll only be down about 3-500 HP to the next slowest A boat
-Full interior?
-no steel nozzle
-closed cooling?
-no numbers
-engine cover, allowed but I've never seen one except in SJ class
-etc etc

Holy @#$%, I just looked at it again and realized the buy it now price is $35K. I actually bought a race ready Eagle for about $12K, and his boat isn't even running. If anybody spends more than 1/8 of what this guy is asking, they are getting better dope than he is-Aluminum Squirt

Boat is a delta bottom and the trailer does not fit. Unbolt everything and shake it upside down till things quit falling out. The outside and bottom where nice other than paint, sides were polished. When I inquired about it he was asking more than Eagle did for a bare hull. LOL looks like he still has it :2purples:

Hey but there is a suspension under the front seats... Makes me think of the city bus, but that is pretty cool.

Seat bases from a semi, those are not autometer guages, he is in those for about $200 with Fast and furious shift lights/ holiday lights. That is special.

Hey don't feel bad Kev-O I can barely post pics on here myself!!
The easy "browse to attach" pics feature never works on this forum for some odd reason. Check out my thread on 'for the alloy curious', someone explins how to do it there. Looks like you're close with the pic hosted by ***boat.
No clue why they can't make this waaaayyy easier. especially if they will host the pic anyway????
Cheers
(The ground still have colour on it out there? Note I did not say it haha)

How deep is that water 6" or so ???

Rampager
11-04-2005, 03:30 PM
Usually varies second to second in a river like that but if he apex's that corner like alot of boats seemed to I bet its not even that deep!
I don't know when or if there is a limit to how shallow it can be before you'd notice a performance loss but I'd guesstimate the tunnel could run in 3" without hitting going that fast. Even if it does as long as you're going somewhat straight who cares ;)
You really need to try it to understand, ran my tunnel this weekend over a bunch of gravel bars, they really just start to be meaningless to you, let off gas, hold on, get back into gas and figure out where you're going to next. Its a huge rush having no time to think about the alternatives. Point the boat to what seems deepest and keep your speed as high as possible! The tool steel and UHMW runners take care of the rest(you hope) Of course you passengers may be flipping out but I'm too busy driving the boat to notice that! lol
Incidentally Im told my hull had the UHMW runners because it had been to NZ for a race and its very common down there to hit gravel so most guys add them. Im not sure how much I've needed them so far but its nice to know they are there just in case.
"Go alloy or go home" try it, you'll learn why I say that now haha
Cheers
