You realize of course the Z drive is a rare,elusive....and expensive bird?

Hate to break it to ya but, that is not a Z-Drive, it's a parallel drive!, on a Z-Drive, the bottom shaft is on the opposite side, hence, Z-Drive!!.....

The gears and shafts are reversable ...notice the blocking plates on the back side?
If it were a parallel drive ....dont you think there would be an input shaft?

JBB: Did that come out of your jet boat? I have heard they use them in very fast jets. Gets the engine RPM's to the moon. wink

Ok, it's reversible, I slipped but either shaft can be the input shaft depending on the application!, shaft's come splined or key'd!!..... :p :p

My jet is an American Turbine
The box is Casale
After talking with Casale about it and realizing all the re rigging it would entail (and how busy/Lazy I am) I scrapped the Idea!!!
