So a girl here at work has had Verizon wireless for about 4 years now. She was at Soboba Casino in February and her phone was stolen. She made a police report, had the phone turned off, got a new one and thought all was fine. She just got her bill for April and someone downloaded 47 stupid things from the internet to the stolen phone and now they are trying to say she is responsible for the 407.00 bill.

I had my Verizon phone stolen, I reported it stolen the next day and got a police report. When the bill came a month later with $200.00 worth of calls, I called them and they took care of it for me, so I did not have to pay for it. I had also been a customer for 4 years, this was about 3 years ago though, I guess there CS has changed.

yeah i would say it changed. i just discovered that they had over charged me ~550 over the last 9 months. it took talking to 4 different people to finally get it resolved. they kept telling me that they could only credit me for 3 months becasuse that was their "policy". they had taken off my wifes "in calling" when i added my Onstar truck phone. so every call she made was against our minutes. i told them that policy does not matter. the facts are black and white- you over charged me and i am requiring a refund. amazing how they tried to fight me on it.

Verizon Wireless trains there supervisors to screw the customer. They billed me for a wireless internet service that I never had and didn't authorize. When I found out about it, my office had been paying the bill for a year. The first two levels of supervisors gave me the 3 month BS. The third level supervisor offered 6 months credit. She said that even though the billing was in error, I HAD TO SHARE THE BLAME BECAUSE I PAID THE BILLS.
To make a long story short, I finally got a full credit, but it took 2 days and threats of legal action.
