OH YES!!!
if building a new home was not cheaper than buying a re-sale, I would have been out of Biz along time ago.
for the most part you can turn $30k if not more on a new home, from the time you sign, till the time you close 6-8 months, the market goes up.
just ask Blane, what he has got into his new home and consider he could EASILY!!! sell it for $420K plus

Blane I wanted to thanks for the Thread, and more important what your decision means to me. you pitted us against another builder with the intention of selling both homes and now your choosing to keep the Summit home. I am into it pretty good, so 40% is a tad ambitious..
Haven't met Aubrey yet, but have spoken to others and although I think I am pretty easy to work with as a buyer, the entire Summit Team has been very responsive, timely and pleasant throughout the entire process.
Now, Can Aubrey throw in a nice mailbox for me to match my stucco and brick facia ?? :rollside: :rollside:

what the projected growth in lhc/and surronuding areas ?

SummitKarl
11-03-2005, 02:35 PM
what the projected growth in lhc/and surronuding areas ?
cost wise
it's been holding around 30% for the last two years, and about 12% for the decade prior to that, I would expect to see it return to about 18% and hold for several years.
people wise
LHC is about 55-60k full time, swelling to 120k or more in the winter
and 90k on the Summer Weekends
growth continues to the north of LHC Golden shores is expanding RAPIDLY!!!
as well as Fort Mohave, and a new community of "Stearling" (east of G.S) is being graded now.
it is expected that land is to be released to the South of LCH and in the foothills of LHC
growth along the river from Bullhead to Erinberg is expected to continue at a brisk pace.
