Ok now that I have you attention, give me some advise
I recently had built for me a 540bbc with procharger. It has JE blower pistons, AFR cnc 335cc ported heads(hard coated) scat billet crank, Manley pro series rods, trap door oil pan, polished procharger, Nickerson carb, imco valve covers and pulleys, fully dressed with all marine accessories and coolers, msd ignition and dist.,cmi exhaust with tail pipes, full roller valve train. This motor is built right. I think I am selling the boat I was going to put it in, so I will be selling it. It should run around 900hp with 7 or 8lbs of boost all day long. I will have it on a dyno before I sell it. Any idea what it is worth?

it is the 12 rib m1. it ran 9lbs to 10lbs with a really big cam in the 502 with a 2.95 top pully. procharger feels 8lbs to 9lbs with the cam,and heads i have and a 2.75 or 2.55 top pully. i guess we will see. 9 to 1 comp.

Why are you not going to use this motor?
That is a tough situation. Teague would probably sell a motor like that for $20 - $25K possibly more?
This guy is asking $10K for a 650 HP 572 Merlin with <20 hours:

Description: See link, below, for all pics and build sheet: http://standsononewheel.homestead.com/forsale.html From flame arrestor to oil pan, includes MSD ignition but does not include CMI's or accessories. e-mail for more details. Too much motor for my 25' boat.
Here is the link to the boatXchange.com listing this came from Merlin (http://www.boatxchange.com/cgi-bin/boat/item.pl?item=442)

nice motor, but it is bare and used, no procharger. So you think if i ask like 15k-20k it would be reasonable, or is that wat to much. i built it for a 25' v bottom i have that i think i have sold.

All Kidding aside Start in the $15k-$20k and go from there. Assuming you have all reciepts to show prospective buyers.
