Nice work on the carb adapters there Dave.
One thing that gave me fits with the carb adapter on my dune buggy was a support that would hold the weight of the carb hanging out there.
I take it you've got a CNC mill now that you machined out those nice flanges with.

What kind of buggy do you have? I have made some manifolds for VW engines. Here are a couple pics.

Carbon Dave,
That's a real nice manifold, How much is one of those ?
I used a Chassis Shop manifold.

I think there's a problem with this thread, Carbon Daves' post is staying at the bottom.

I'm kinda in that bidness....(VW's)that is, is that manifold something you MADE, or something you MAKE?
If you still MAKE them, I would like a price because a friend of mine is thinking of ditching his Weber and I was going to build him a billet manifold.
Carbon would be way cooler, IMHO.
You could PM me the price if you would rather not post it.

Yes, I still make them. Check out my website for pricing or shoot me an email.
79regal. Looks like superdave013 could make you one. Nice welding there.

yes I do now have a cnc. But those were made long before I got it.
So the flanges were made by wsuwrhr 909 883 3739. The fab and welding was done by Steve Yorder 714 381 7658. Steve does lots of turbo stuff and his boat has just what 79regal is looking for. I think it's a banks unit.
Carbon Dave, bad ass is all I can say. That engine wouldn't happen to be at a shop in Anaheim would it?

Thanks for the compliment
No. The engine was built by a shop to whom I have sold several manifolds. www.houseofbuggies.com They are down in Santee.
I am work on a turbo street/strip VW but has not been work on much since I bought my boat. Go figure. Maybe over the winter.
