Crappy Paint ideas?

Drew these up on the quickly on the computer. I like the basic yellow stripe idea myself. I think the spashes are a little too much, also way more involved, obviously. A friend of mine here in town is really going to basically build this windshield for me out of smoked lexan. I'm stoked about that. The cartoon blower motor will have to wait though. If you ignore the crappy drawing skills, what do you guys think?

LOL I thought it looked more Urine-like myself, but my wife likes that one. I'm sure a good artist could make it look less like bodily fluids. Maybe my wife has a weird fetish I don't know about. :rollside:

If your going to just do the one stripe of yellow on white, I would lean more towards some exotic yellow color with a lot of candy in it to make it really stand out, but be custom on its on.

Sweet! Obviously you are way better at this than me. Anyone else care to paint my boat? I'm wide open for creative input and uh...better photo editing software than "paintbrush". Not really a lot of "House of Kolor" choices there.

Sinking it has crossed my mind, but it's too cold to swim now, and I don't want to look at this ugly brown thing in my garage all winter, so I'm going to have to paint it. Besides, it runs perfect and I need something to do this winter.
Thanks for the template myoung. I think I will mess with some ideas on that later. I like cyclone's..er...I mean..HBjet's reverse tribal idea, but I have a racist attitude about the colors purple and pink :yuk: . The blue and gray looks good though. :cool:

Maxwedge, save yourself the headache. Keep your thru hull. OT's are really loud. If ya got a 460 in there, I'll sell ya mine. Im going to thru hull with mufflers of some sort.

If I remember right, there is a place in Sacramento that has the original molds for the windshield. I don't have the name or number, but I know they are an injection molding company. Just look in the yellow pages.

Nice job on the Tahiti-winder. Anyone on the forums have that boat now? I saw over in the picture thread that your new boat does good wheelies though!
L&L Marine in CA seems to be only source I can find for the "lens" as they call it. But they want almost $900 shipped to my door and I would still have to find the metal trim somewhere or make it. I figure we can screw up quite a few $28 (wholesale pricing rocks) plastic sheets before we reach that price, besides I want to see if I can make it a more modern low profile full wrap around. Probably just going to start a big smelly fire and wind up with a melted glob on the floor, but what the the hell, it's all in good fun right? :D

Hitech performance has a link on his site for a plastics guy, The Taylor, the Tahiti, the Wriedt, and Sidewinder are very near if not the same windshields. They have the frames and all, made for these boats
