That 18' Dallas Cowboy Youngblood looks quite familiar and has an interesting early history!

Technically Underdog is correct. The hull he now has in the Dallas Cowboy colors was the multicolor Indian Mafia race boat in 1984. Driven by Mike Hudson, the boat ran in the high 130's and low 140's at several SDBA,MDBA and I think ADBA races in 1984. The 142 pass may have been in St. Louis. I have a few pictures of the blown boat running with both Mike Hudson and Mad Mike Battaglia driving.
In mid 1984 the hull was sold to John Sullivan and then Steven Smith. The boat was then run on the SDBA circuit and selected MSDBA races from 1984 through 1986. In 1986 the boat tuned and driven by Steven Smith set the MSDBA record for Unblown Gas Jet and was SDBA High Points Runner Up for the season following the National Debt Cheyenne driven by Mike Straughan.
In UBGJ trim with a 557" BBC, the boat ran between 115 and 122 for most of the season. The fastest pass was a 122 in Corsicana defeating the late Jerry Wallace in the Smokin' and Strokin' Cheyenne. Attached is a picture of the boat on Lake Overholser in Oklahoma City with a recorded speed of 119.
The hull was supposedly a mid "light weight" with the bare weight in the neighborhood of 360 to 380 lbs. It took quite a bit of hardware tuning to meet the recorded performances.
