Ok so I was looking at amazon for a new sledge hammer9 some one gave me a gift card) and I found this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007WZ5GK/002-0135843-7972046?v=glance&n=228013&n=553214&s=hi&v=glance
And no thats not a mispirnt. WTF a hammer for just under $900.... they must be smoking more crack then the ppl on ebay that says thier boat does a 100.
Really was the deal with these things?

I know a Blacksmith back in NC that spends big $$$ on Hammers. I have actually used an $1800 hammer (hand tool) while doing metal work on my race truck. They actually are real nice to use. Night and day different from your $15 Home Depot mini sledge.

I'd be somewhat disappointed if this wasn't the case. :2purples:

Mike I thought it was just a hammer whaen I grabbed it. I asked why it felt the way it did, so he said here is a reg hammer (Lowes), swing that. Then the explanations came in. I like the Big Blue Numatic hammer less work.

Most any hammer will work on a Ford. It just has to be BIG

If you have a $2 head buy a $2 helmet. Same thing applies if you're working in a hazardous environment. Depending on the alloy used, 23lbs. of it might not be bad for $900.
