How many time is this guy going to try and sell this? Every time hes posted this, I've asked him he came by this and it didn't come out of a Daytona. No Reply. :notam:

Man that thing is thrashed for only two trips to the lake. Looks about as late model as the pump in my 1976. :D

When this was posted before, a couple guys questioned it coming from a Daytona. You can see the hull is out from a V bottom. I asked the seller how he came across it and why say it was from a Daytona. I also asked if it was HOT. He never replied. Go figure.

It's definately NOT out of a Eliminator Daytona ... more like an Eliminator Sprint?
Here's a Eliminator's Daytona rear section:
(Edited to correct that it's not out of an Eliminator Daytona mold)

all you guys are thinking Eliminator Daytona. Years ago there was a hull brand named Daytona that was a semi v bottom boat such as a Tahiti. I had a picture of one from a magazine ad but I can't seem to find it.

Now that you mention it, you are correct ... didn't they have a mini-day crusier ... like a 19 footer? I think it was called a Sunrunner or Sundowner ... or something like that?

Oh sure, now its a differenct Daytona. The guy still could have replied and said "look dumb ass, its from a hull brand named Daytona that was a semi v bottom boat such as a Tahiti". :boxingguy
What the hell.

Well ... I dunno if it's from a different hull ... but usually a Daytona is a Daytona (Eliminator) ... that's what I think he is trying to make it sound like on his e-bay add IMO ...

Still... how many of us would cut a pump out of a boat, salvage or not?? It would be a total bitch to seperate the pump from that chunck of hull.
Seems awfully fishy to me.

Any time you remove a pump with a skill saw usually means the parts are hot. What was a Daytona doing offshore anyways? Of course thare was the brand Daytona but there would not be any Late model daytonas laying around. there is something fishy about the junk yard man.
