Okay for those of you who have watched Ron not fire due to his priming system ... well, we fixed it!
Installed the stupid bottle and I got to tell the Father-in-law "I told you so" ... a rare moment around the Fuentes hosehold ... (well, a rare moment that I got to get away with it)
For those of you who don't know Ron ... this is his race boat, Blown Gas PSI motor ... many final round losses due to his old priming system ... look out Willis ... Ron starts easy now!

I think it did speed up ... I also see the books flapping up on the shelf in the back ground ...

No it's blown gas ... in my father-in-laws boat ... I have blown alcohol in my boat ... no need for the priming system on mine ... mine fires like that all of the time as well

Oh man, that's what I needed. We need a spot on this website for stuff just like that. Give us folks sentenced to rain and cold weather something to get our fix from.
Thanks

Here you go ... it's a gravity feed system, plumbed with a No2 gas solenoid and a .045" injector nozzel. Basically, you fill the bottle (we plumbed a fuel pump & line into the bottle to fill it), then when you are going to start, you switch on the solenoid to allow fuel to flow, crank the boat until it starts and runs, and then turn it off. Pretty easy.
We used to run the fuel pump (Holley Red) that we are now using to fill the primer bottle directly to the injector ... didn't work so well, usually ended up flooding the motor.
This system (as you can see) works great IMO. We had to make the bracket and make the lines.

Good Viberations also sells a check valve that screws into distribution block on hat.Allows you to back fill injector with electric pump.I've used both.

Used this ... didn't work as reliable as the bottle ... but what I am speaking about here is only blown gas ... my blown alcohol motor fires everytime, without a primer. I have to prime it a little with gas for the initial firing in the morning ... no primer needed for the rest of the day.
Blown gas IMO is a pain all around! Everyone should switch to alcohol! :D
