Ok this is the official thread! If you are racing please post your boat number and/or a pic. This will be helpful to put names with faces at the races;) Please keep all the bench racing stuff in other threads. I want to helpmyself and others meet some of you fellow boaters without all the b.s;)

I saw on another site that Ron Braaksma had a top fuel boat put together to run at Phoenix. At least I think thats what it said, kinda hard to decipher the rumors from the facts some times. Anyone know if this is true? Would love to see the Madness team back in racing.

This is absolutely TRUE. If I'm not with the 249 team Ron's pit is where I will be. He was thinking about coming out to the NJBA event last month to shake it down ... but he couldn't make it.
But yes, Team Madness is going to be there.

Good to hear Braaksma is coming back, Ive been watching him since I was a kid.I read something about that on another forum as well, it was hard to follow..I also hear there will be ALOT of fuel boats.

Kinda curious as to how it went today. Pretty danged breezy this morning. It was a tailwind so I don't know if that would help or hurt the times. Probably safer than a headwind though.
According to weather.com, it's supposed to settle down and be nice the rest of the weekend. No wind if you can believe that.
Very windy there.
2 S boats flipped and 1 fueler went out of the lake.
No one was seriously hurt from what I understand.
Oh and Urban Menace TAH ran 217 WooHoo

I will try to post results tomorrow from the track. As far as I remember Maddness did OK, only one round today. We did have one TFH Run 252 mph today. Hope he can back it up tomorrow for the new record.

The one fuler that ran a 4.82 sec @ 252.00 MPH Friday evening was worth the trip folks! He put a MPH leg on the record. Great weather, a lot of good boats here. There are 14 TFH boats here. Most i've ever seen at one time.

Not sure what number they are now, was 726, I think the driver is Ron Braaksma. Black Boat watch for the guy that refuses to shut off even when he's sideways :crossx:

Heard there were a few NEW records set today. Do not have the details of them all though. :cry:
Speed Vision put a camera in Urban Menace today..That is so cool.
Second run for them was a better reaction time with a speed of 217.
